Clockmakers Museum

18th March 2027

Where would we be without clocks to tell us the time? We rely on accurate time for so many things and particularly in our modern electronic world.

But there was a time when a burning candle, a dripping tap into a beaker or observations of the sun were the only ways to have any idea of when in the day one was.

Housed in the Science Museum is the Clockmakers Gallery and we will be having a guided tour around the exhibits to learn the chronology of time measurement.

After visiting the gallery you are welcome to explore the rest of the Museum.
