We were treated to humorous tales of two of our members who worked for the GPO in Brentwood. What they got up to with the lady telephone operators, the embarrasing incidents when fixing faults and how to drive your inspector up the pole!

As we laughed and enjoyed learning about the localk history of telephones, we were very glad to be inside as the rain hammered down!
